Excited to share that our first commission will be to run the IST for a Global Satellite Communications firm. Their critical Electronics R&D and customer test facility is complete in July, and Dimension8 will be hands-on delivering the full IST test for the facility.
The IST Testing will encompass full black building testing of the electrical systems, including UPS and Generator, as well as the integration of two separate BMS systems. Following on from this full environmental testing of the two major Electronic labs, featuring 72 cabinets, 4 downflow underfloor CRAC units, which will capture a full week of environmental testing, including the innovative free cooling systems that will save the client approximately 70% of the energy cost.
Our role includes the physical set up of the site, including the heat emulators, full planning of the IST tests step-by step, managing the client attendance and witnessing/sign-off and hands-on undertaking the IST’s and full reporting of the outcomes directly to the client.
